Week 7 - Baby #2!

Week 7 of pregnancy #2. Last year at this time, we hadn't even gone through our procedure yet and here I am less than one year later ... pregnant ... naturally ... with Baby Witko #2.

I told you "Waiting for Baby Witko" would continue to change it's meaning.

Week 7 - July 29, 2010
McKenna is 3 months 2 weeks 6 days old

This go 'round I decided to include my little girl with me in the weekly belly pictures. I thought it would be neat to watch McKenna grow week by week, especially because she grows so much every week.

I debated if I was going to even take weekly pictures. I'll be honest, I didn't have much time in between my pregnancy's to lose all of the baby weight. I'm not exactly back to where I was on Week 7 last year. And...I'm not too excited to reveal that I haven't totally lost my first baby belly....HECK! my baby girl is only 3 months old!

But, then I thought...HECK! my baby girl is only 3 months old! People should understand, right?!

Hmmm, it would be interesting to see if my belly grows any differently than it did with McKenna, especially if we end up having a boy....

I should try my best to do for #2 what I did for #1...(we'll see how that goes!)

So, after the debate....you'll be treated once again to some weekly belly growth...why do I think it'll be more exciting to see Kenna?!

Speaking of McKenna....

Is there anything sweeter?!

brought back with her from the Great Wolf Lodge at the Wisconsin Dells.

During our photo shoot, Pepper came to make sure Kenna was doing okay...

Our Favorite Place

...is the pool!

McKenna & I have been hitting the pool a lot this hot, hot summer. Even though we haven't moved into our house yet, we've gotten to know our neighborhood pool quite well and....we LOVE it!

her hat doesn't fit so well! but we can't find one small enough!

Kenna has started opening her mouth to give squishy kisses!

Family from Far

Brian's cousin, Jenny, and her fiance, Cooper came into town last weekend from Washington D.C. It was a great chance for us to meet and get to know Cooper. They had a lot of fun hanging with McKenna too! Their wedding is Memorial Day Weekend of 2011 in New Orleans, where Cooper is from. We can't wait! It's an awesome reason for a vacation!

Jenny loved snuggling with Kenna!

a butterfly kept dive bombing Jenny and McKenna
and at one point even landed on Kenna's nose!
My camera isn't fast enough for me to capture it!

SURPRISE!!!!

Premature.Ovarian.Failure. That's what we were told in December of 2008.

Chance of me getting pregnant with my own egg .... slim to none .....

so imagine my surprise (and tears) when I saw this...

...and this...

my baby girl may be little but she's going to be a....

and we couldn't be any more excited!

Baby Witko #2 is due March 16, 2011! It is very early - but you know me...I can't even think twice about keeping this news a secret - I am just way too excited! Please keep us in your prayers that all goes happy and healthy the next few weeks.

I think this pregnancy may fly by....

what do you think?

...oh and by the way...this was my 200th post! I'd say that worked out to be pretty special!

A Girls Day Out

On Friday, McKenna & I headed out for a girls day with our favorite friend Katie K. Katie's best friend, Kristin Keane and her daughter, Kalleigh came in town for the weekend and we were invited to spend some girl time together in downtown Naperville. Through Katie, Kristin & I have become fast friends - you may remember her from this post last year when she was giving me one of my IM injections in the Cheesecake Factory bathroom. We picked Kristin & Kalleigh up from the train station in downtown Naperville and then immediately headed to the Riverwalk. At 10am it was already about 85 degrees, so we didn't last long walking around outside. We decided to head to the DuPage Children's Museum. After a couple of hours of playing around in the water tables, bubble tables, and wind tunnel, we went to On The Border for lunch. It was a great day!

Thanks Katie, Kristin, & Kalleigh for a great day out! McKenna & I had such a great time hanging out with you and playing at the museum! Sorry Kristin, I realized that I didn't get any pictures of you I guess you were the "behind the scenes" girl!

We can't wait to do it again soon!
Love you!
