It has been 7 days, one whole week that you have been part of our lives and what a wonderful 7 days it has been! We are so blessed and just so excited! Both McKenna and Trippy were so excited when you came home from the hospital. They couldn't wait to meet you and play with you!
one week old - March 21, 2011
At 4 days old, we went to the doctor for a weight check. We met with Dr. Scherer. You weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz., gaining one ounce from when we left the hospital. Your left eye has a blocked tear duct, so it's just a bit more teary and gooey. Dr. Scherer said that it usually clears itself up, but if it doesn't it's not something they worry about until babies are 9 months old. Both me and your daddy had blocked tear ducts when we were babies too! We just make sure to keep it clean. Overall, your first doctor appointment went well, you are a healthy boy! We'll head back for your 2 week and meet with Dr. Canner.

You are one little snuggle bug! You love to lay on our chests, crawling up to rest your sweet little head in the nook of our neck. You also love to lay in your swing, snoozin' to the gentle back and forth motion. 
On your one week birthday, it was a gorgeous day, so we headed out to the park with GP. You stayed in the double stroller snuggled up, as Kenna and GP played on the swings, slide, and teeter-totter. Trippy loved the walk too! 
Just know you are the most perfect little boy in the whole world.
