Just a funny little way my sisters & I express our blessings for America.
Which all started from this cute picture of Macker...

Every year we celebrate America's birthday at Arlington Race Track. It's our day with just Dad. As usual, mom was attending the National Education Association's Annual Meeting and Representative Assembly, but this year it was in Chicago, so she wasn't too far away!
We love the 4th and we love celebrating it at the track. This year it was a bit different. Instead of sitting up in the grandstand in the box seats, we decided to sit down in the picnic area so that Kenna could run around and be more comfortable. Lucky enough, it was also Family Day, so there were pony rides and a petting zoo.

is your mama a llama?

not sure if you knew, but this girl is an experienced pony rider...notice she goes with the left hand on the saddle horn and the right up in the air in a YEEHAW! kinda way

I gave McKenna a pen and had her pick 3 horses for an Exacta bet and we won!

Brad's great idea on getting the kids out of the sun, a blanket draped across the two strollers! Worked perfect! Benny & Brayden played and layed under there pretty much the whole time!

We had an awesome time once again at the Race Track. No BIG winners, but some small wins. Until next year!

this post is so much fun! what a fun day we all had! cant wait for next year cause benny brayden will be running around like kenna was!!! love you so much!
I love McKenna's pony riding technique! Have you ever tried her skill at picking lottery numbers? I noticed puppy made the trip to Arlington. Puppy will have been to more places in its short life than some people. Glad you had a great time, thanks for the pics and story.
Thanks so much for letting us crash your 4th at Arlington again. We love this tradition and had so much fun! Can't wait till next year!
Great post! I think the photo of you and Benny is probably the best from the day. He just looks content chillin with this mom.
Always a good time at Arlington - minus the sweating. Thanks for posting the one of me and Jordan - might be the best we have ever taken together.
See you soon! GBA...horray!
