This summer has been one of the busiest yet. Every week brings playdates and adventures and every weekend brings parties, get-togethers, and barbeques...it's what every summer is meant to be. Living life to the fullest. Staying up late. Getting together with friends. Enjoying the warm days and enjoying the warm nights.
Needless to say it does not leave me much time to blog...
So here's a rundown of all that we've been up to!
We celebrated Brian, my dad, and my father-in-law on Father's Day over at the Witkowski's House...

Brian turned 31 on June 25. To celebrate we went golfing with Brad & Megan and then we went out to dinner. A perfect "Brian" day!

before the celebrating could begin...the landscaping chores had to get done!

(by the way...I can't believe I didn't get a single picture of Megan! She was our cart girl, enjoying the day on the sidelines...who knew we'd have so much fun?!)
The next day, Sunday, June 26, we headed to Riverside, IL to celebrate Jackson Myers' 2nd Birthday CARS style! He's another one of our little friends turning TWO this summer! You know how much I love these posts, always my chance to celebrate our littlest friends. It was a perfect summer day for a backyard party!

Thanks for having us, Myers Family! Happy Birthday, Jackson!!!
One of our favorite things to do this summer is to sit out on our front porch after the kids have gone to bed. Brad & Megan come over quite often to enjoy it with us. It's always good times!

fun with the camera...that red line and ghost-like haze is Brad walking by...the red line is his cigar
We're very lucky to live really close to our best friends. We're only a couple of miles away. We get together all the time, playdates for the kids during the week, and fun family togetherness during the weekends. There's not much we do without our favorite friends. Brad & Megan are our best friends and it definitely seems as though, McKenna, Brayden & Ben will follow suit. I mean we've already got them in the bathtub together!

Every year my Dad & Brian choreograph a run to Naperville's Ribfest. Brian drives and Dad runs in quick to pick up ribs. It makes for a perfect lunch.
