Family & Football

This past weekend was full of family fun. It started on Thursday night; my Uncle John and my cousin, Nick were in town for a convention for a couple of days. First stop was Neuqua Valley High School to watch Mikey take on rival (and Brian & my alma mater) Waubonsie Valley. The freshman team took Waubonsie down, Mikey led the team with 3 touchdowns. He had an unbelievable game.

After the game we headed to Aunt Lynn & Uncle Rick's house for pizza and salad. Kenna had peaches! Aunt City Girl even came home for the night!

Friday night, we headed to North Central College, to cheer Danny & the sophomore team take on Waubonsie. Neuqua once again took down the Warriors, Danny led the team with 2 touchdowns. His coach even presented him with the game ball on the field. It was a very proud moment for us all!
