Hailey's Happy Day

I'm still working on catching up on our October...  this fall has been super busy for us!

On October 15, we headed to Ohio to celebrate Hailey's 7th Birthday.  It's been a couple of years since we've been able to make it to Hailey's party, so we made sure we could make the trip this year.  It's always a great time getting together with my cousins.   We definitely don't get a chance to see each other as much as we'd like!

Grandma Beauty was getting out of the hospital after recovering from a stroke so, we packed the kids up early so we could make a visit to see GG before heading to the party.

We were very glad that we got a chance to see Grandma Beauty, even if it was only for a short visit.

NOTRE DAME vs. purdue

In our house, College Football rules the Fall. There's nothing better than College Gameday on a cool, autumn morning. Apples and pumpkins are fun, but Notre Dame football, is the true meaning of Fall....now if they could just have a winning season...

We try to get to atleast one game a year. This year it just so happened that our one game was at Purdue, my sister, Lizzie's alma mater.

Along with Lizzie and her boyfriend, Jordan, we met my cousin, Nick and his girlfriend, Sarah in West Layfayette, Indiana. It was a Saturday night game, so we made sure to get there nice and early to get plenty of tailgating time.

We had the best time tailgating at Ross-Ade Stadium.  My mom & dad made the whole weekend possible...they stayed home with McKenna & Benny - and had the best time themselves...of course!
