On Saturday, McKenna had her very first play date with Kailey Tokarz! Kailey's mom, Deana and I were so excited to finally get these two girlies together.

Kailey will turn 1 on May 29th!

Full Circle

On Wednesday, May 5, McKenna & I headed to a very special place.

Together we headed back to the first place we met. The place we became one.

The Hinsdale Center for Reproduction.


I have walked through those doors about a million times, and at one point, daily. I can't express what I was feeling as I walked through those doors this time...holding my daughter.

How amazing it was to introduce all of my nurses and Dr. Hickey to Miss McKenna Jo Witkowski. The people who made her possible.

Special Visitors

This week we were very excited to introduce McKenna to her Great Grandma & Grandpa Milazzo! They drove up from Ohio and spent a few days with us and the Dudeks. Grandpa was so excited to cuddle with McKenna and kept fighting Aunt Lynn for her! She loved every minute of it.

Road Trip!! 3 Weeks Old

My...

...was 3 weeks old on April 30, 2010! What an amazing three weeks it's been!

At 3 weeks old, McKenna is starting to outgrow her preemie jammies. We are making the switch to newborn size, as of tonight. She is still wearing preemie clothes and newborn size diapers.

On Friday, April 30th, we headed out to Ohio for my cousin, Erin's bridal shower with my mom, Kristen, and Lizzie. It was McKenna's first road trip. She was absolutely FANTASTIC in the 7 hour car ride! We stopped every few hours when McKenna (and the rest of us!) needed to eat and as soon as we would get back into the car, Kenna would fall right asleep.

Everyone just loved and loved on her all weekend! We had a great time! We're looking forward to Erin & Kreso's wedding - June 12, 2010!

After the shower we headed over to Aunt Malo & Uncle Ba's house to hang out and watch the Derby! I won $5! My horse, Ice Box, took 2nd!
