Another Graduate!

Mackenzie, McKenna & I attended my cousin, Mikey's 8th Graduation from Crone Middle School yesterday. Doing away with the full out 8th grade graduation, Crone held a transition ceremony, honoring the students as they head to high school at Neuqua Valley or Waubonsie Valley. We are very proud of Mikey - he was nominated for the Clifford Crone Award, the namesake of the middle school!

Congratulations Mikey! We can't wait to see you dominate the football field and basketball court at Neuqua next year!

At only 6 weeks old, McKenna has already attended two graduation ceremonies! Don't you worry she's making a list...people are definitely going to have to repay her! :)

School Shower

I was put on bed rest on Friday, February 26th and 10 weeks later I was back with McKenna. On Friday, May 7th, we headed to school for my baby shower! It wasn't just a celebration of McKenna, it was also a celebration of baby girl Troyer. Her dad, Mark, is a 3rd grade teacher at Graham and his little girl will be making her debut soon!

Bridal Bliss

My friend Jen Michaels is getting married to Jeff Campen on July 10, 2010. McKenna & I attended her bridal shower on Saturday, May 15 at the White Eagle Country Club. It was a small, intimate affair that I was truly honored to be invited to. Two years ago, when I was teaching first grade, Jen was my student teacher. Since then we have become close friends. She is an amazing teacher and is currently the Project Arrow (gifted) teacher at Graham. I couldn't have been any luckier to have such an amazing student teacher/friend! Love you Jen! I wish you and Jeff many many years of happiness!
