McKenna's BFF, Miss Kailey Marie Tokarz is already ONE!!! We attended her Mickey & Minnie Mouse birthday bash on Saturday, June 5! We had a blast, as always, with the Tokarz family and Strzelecki family! It's going to be a lot of fun having these two little girls grow up together!

Heads Up!

At just over 7 weeks old, McKenna has been more and more alert and interactive. She loves to stretch out on the floor to giggle and make silly noises. She'll 'tell' you about her day and will watch the puppies play. She is such a love, I just can't get enough of this little girl!

This past week during tummy time, Kenna lifted her head 90 degrees...I'm thankful that I had my camera on hand to get some pictures of it. She almost rolled over, but she got frustrated when she couldn't quite figure out how to get her head out of the way!

What a dream come true!

Our New Home!

On Thursday, May 20th we finally closed on our dream house in Plainfield, Illlinois!! We are estatic! There is still a bit of work to be completed so we actually won't move in for a couple of months. The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms. It is an All Suites Style, so each bedroom has a bathroom and a walk-in closet! Perfect for visitors...or better yet...perfect for lots of kids!

It has been great living at my mom & dad's house. They looooovvvveee having McKenna 24/7. It has definitely been a special time....although, they may be a bit ready for Trippy to head out! :) We can't thank them enough for letting us move in for all this time and for all of the help with our new baby girl. I'll never forget this time...it has been absolutely wonderful!

It looks like it'll take about 2-2 1/2 months to finish up the house. I'm hoping we'll be in before school starts in August.

It was one year ago that Trippy joined our family...Nick & Sarah actually came up last year to bring me my special pup! She was MUCH smaller then!

On Monday we headed to the Witkowski's house for a cookout. I didn't take any pictures, but here is one that my mother in law took of McKenna holding her Daddy's hand.
