Week 8

On Friday, September 11th, we had our 2nd ultrasound at 8 weeks 3 days. Baby Witko measured 8 weeks 4 days - one day bigger! We were very excited to see that the baby is growing well - and of course you gotta love, as Brad put it, that our baby is already an over-achiever...just like mom and dad! The heartbeat was measured at 177 beats per minute. Dr. Hickey said that they want to see it between 160-180 at this point - so that is fantastic! I go back this Friday for blood work and then again Thursday the 24th for our third ultrasound. They were already asking me about my OB...they said that I'll need to make an appointment to head back over to their practice in about 3-4 weeks! That makes me both sad and excited...for obvious reasons.

Isn't it so crazy how much the baby actually looks like a baby already!
The growth in the last two weeks is simply amazing!

we checked in on the other two sacs to make sure there wasn't anyone else hiding...
no one else is there, but as you can see Sac B sure did try!
