Waiting for Baby Witko: 10 Months Old

Dear McKenna,

Ahhh! 10 months old! You are already 10 months old....where has the time gone?!

Of course, you're the smartest little girl that we've ever known, but we might be a tad biased! This month you learned how to use sign language to say "more". You learned how to clap your hands and play patty cake and when we say "how big is Kenna?!" you lift your arms with excitement for "SOOO BIG!". When we ask you, where's puppy? you will look around and then crawl quickly to your white puppy and give it a nice big hug saying, "Ahhh!" You do that to your dolly too! You also like to hit the buttons on the remote and then look up to the TV to watch what happened.

You are wearing 9 month clothes, size 2 shoes, and size 3 diapers.

You are crawling all over the place and pulling up on anything in front of you. You will now walk with us when we hold your hands and you will stand on your own for a few seconds if we place you up on your feet in front of us. You walk around things with ease, like the ottoman, or your activity table. You love to pull yourself up on the end table and pull off the coasters and anything else within arms reach.

You imitate zerberting, by sticking your tongue out and blowing, making a silly sound. It's so addicting to keep going back and forth zerberting at each other!

You get your fashion sense from AB!

This month your 3rd tooth popped through! You now have two on the bottom and one on the top. They come in very handy now that you're eating so much solid food. Sometimes I think you have a full mouth of teeth the way you eat! You chew up your food like a big girl. Your favorite things to eat are mini pancakes, diced fruit, crunchies (or what I like to call, baby Cheetos), macaroni & cheese, chicken nuggets, french fries, and YoBaby! yogurt.

You & Trippy still love to do everything together...even play in the toilet! The bathroom door now stays closed!

We know you love water, Kenna, but....

This month we celebrated your first Valentine's Day. It was a pretty low-key night. Mommy & Daddy had a doctor's appointment for brother, so after the day at Grandma & Grandpa Witkowski's house, you went over to see GranMom & GP for a little bit. After our doctor's appointment we headed home for our annual Valentine's dinner of Chinese take-out and to play with your Valentine's gift from Mommy & Daddy....a puppy Pillow Pet! Oh how you love anything puppy!
Pretty soon you're going to be a BIG SISTER and we just can't believe it. We are soaking in every moment before your brother gets here. You are going to be the BEST big sister ever!
