We're ready for it.

Sun.

Warmth.

Shorts.

Sunglasses.

Bathing Suits.

Tank Tops.

Flip Flops.

Endless days at our neighborhood pool.

Oh, I think you get it. We're ready for summer. Tired of the cold and the on and off snowfall. Tired of boots. Tired of coats. Tired of the JJCole Carseat Bundleme.

Last weekend we lived as though it was summer. Because inside...it was.

Swimming fun with our friends, Jeff , Erica, Hayden, & Brooks Mandsager and Tim, Steph, Tucker, & Avery Bea.

We packed our bathing suits and flip flops and met at the Radisson in Merrillville, Indiana, right down the road from where the boys' friendship began at Valparaiso University.

No pictures of the mom's. We hung out poolside with the two littles while the Dads swam with our oldest's.

We really had a great time hanging out with the Mandsager's and the Bea's. The Star Plaza Radisson turned out to be a great location and a perfect place for swimming and hanging out. We are very excited to turn this into an annual outing.

As we left on Sunday morning, we walked out of "summer" and right back into a yucky winter day full of sleet, snow, and cold.
